My passion for helping horses is what fueled me to start Southern Equine Bodywork. I wanted to find the best way to help my own horse, after he bowed a tendon years ago.
Little did I know that would be the spark to light the fire. Years later, I decided to become a certified equine rehabilitation therapist. With that training, I learned how to rehab and help every horse feel their best.
What started as a need for one horse turned into a calling to help others. I know what it’s like to be searching for answers and not getting any and that’s why I built SEB.
This work is personal to me, and I bring that level of care into every horse I work on.
Short for prehabilitation, prehab is the practice of enhancing muscle and joint function in order to reduce risk of injury, increase physical performance, and help maintain unrestricted mobility.
This is my favorite poultice for legs, backs, and sore muscles. It’s clean, easy to apply and one of the few products I trust on both my horses and myself.
These hay nets are a game changer for managing hay, waster, and keeping horses eating the way they’re meant to. I use them daily for rehab horses and at home. Durable, safe, and worth every penny.
This is one of the resident pieces of equipment at SEB. I use it on nearly every horse, whether it’s paired with bodywork or on its own. It’s a game changer for reducing inflammation, supporting the nervous system, and helping the body heal.
For muscle soreness, swelling, and post-session relief. This is always in my kit for bodywork days or horses in active recovery.
I’ve fed bluebonnet for years and won’t feed anything else - period. Their feeds are made with locked formulas, closed labels, and guaranteed analysis, meaning the ingredients never change from batch to batch, the tag lists everything that’s in the bag, and the nutrition is consistent every time. No surprises, no ingredient swaps. It’s the foundation of every rehab plan I build and I trust it with my own horses every day.
